HBC Strikers defeat Manhattan Kickers Red 3-1 to win Eastern NY U-17 Girls State Open Cup
he Girls-Under-17 State Open Cup final of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) was an interesting match-up between the HBC Strikers of the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) and the Manhattan Kickers Red of the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL), two teams who had never won a State Open Cup championship before. HBC proved they are the best team in the state with a 3-1 win on a wet field on May 31 in LaGrange.
Loudoun Soccer, Arlington Soccer, Beach FC claim Club Champions League overall titles
The Club Champions League (CCL) announced the league champions for the 2014-2015 season on Wednesday, June 10 in Richmond. Va. Loudoun Soccer won its second straight Overall Club Championship, Arlington Soccer repeated as Overall Boys Champions and Beach FC earned the Overall Girls Championship.

The ECNL regular season wrapped up over the weekend with several high stakes match-ups involving Potomac area clubs. A total of 10 teams representing local clubs FC Virginia, McLean Youth Soccer, Richmond United, Bethesda SC and Maryland United FC have qualified for the ECNL Champions League playoffs across the U-14 to U-18 age groups.
Smithtown Hotspur win the U-15 Girls Eastern New York State Open Cup in overtime
The Girls-Under-15 State Open Cup championship game on May 30 in LaGrange was a lengthy affair where one overtime goal made the difference. Smithtown Hotspur outlasted the South Merrick Lady Cyclones, 2-1, for supremacy in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) and received the new Jack Bauman Cup, going to the top Girls-Under-15 team in the state.
