Q&A: April Heinrichs dishes on Girls DA, Mallory Pugh and more

U.S. U-19 WNT roster named for training camp in Northern California
The U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team will hold its second event of 2016 as 26 players head to Northern California for a training camp in Davis running from March 12-19. The camp will be run by U.S. Soccer Development Coach Jitka Klimkova.

U.S. Soccer-ECNL summit fruitless, with federation set to go it alone on girls Development Academy
Following a closed-door meeting between U.S. Soccer Federation officials and leaders of the Elite Clubs National League and sanctioning partner US Club Soccer in Houston last Friday, it seems the federation is determined to go forward with a new girls Development Academy without any significant outside collaboration.

U.S. U-23 WNT set to travel to Croatia for Istria Cup
The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team will travel to Croatia for its first overseas trip of the year to play three matches in the eight-team Istria Cup, which runs from March 2-7.
