Players That Impressed: ECNL Girls Florida National Event 2022
The ECNL recently hosted the 2022 ECNL Girls Florida National Event in Lakewood Ranch, FL from January 8-10.

U-16
Made an impressive PK save to help preserve Solar’s lead during a fast-paced opening match against SUSA. Solar went on to post a perfect 3-0-0 record.

Talented two-way player who made numerous contributions both defensively and offensively as Solar swept the competition. Craig finished the event with two goals and an assist.
Paced the offense for Solar by scoring four total goals during their three wins, finding the net at least once in every game.
Aly was tied for the team lead with three assists in as many games at ECNL Florida. She contributed to all three wins and played both attacking and defensive midfield roles, as well as center back.
Tabitha was not only a force in the defense third, stymying the opposing teams’ top offensive players and helping secure shutouts in both games, but she also played a key role in transitioning into the attack. She operated as a dangerous additional attacker, creating a number of offensive opportunities for her team, including multiple crosses into the box and shots on goal by Sine herself.
Leslie Razo | Midfielder
Dallas Texans U-16 (TN)
Leslie led all scorers for the Texans with two goals and was a major force in the Texans offense all weekend. She was dangerous with the ball at her feet in all games, making crisp and precise passes to go along with her goals on the weekend.

Tennessee SC U-16 (TN)
Worked with her back line to earn back-to-back clean sheets, both of which resulted in hard-fought 1-0 victories.

Addie DeCoster | Defender
Tennessee SC U-16 (TN)
One of several key players on the Tennessee SC defensive unit, DeCoster helped set the tone as her side held strong in a pair of 1-0 shutout wins.

Ohio Elite SA U-16 (OH)
Started all three games in net for Ohio Elite as they posted an unbeaten 2-0-1 record, and only conceded one total goal at the event.

Ohio Elite SA U-16 (OH)
Playing an active role in the midfield, helped Ohio Elite control possession and prevent opposing scoring chances as they earned a pair of clean sheets. She also tallied an assist on the offensive side.

The defensive midfielder tallied an assist and created numerous scoring chances for her side, while also helping shut down opponents during two clean sheet performances by Ohio Elite.

Sporting Blue Valley U-16 (KS)
Assisted both of her team’s goals during a 2-1 victory over FC DELCO. Bates sent in a pair of well-placed corner kicks to create the scoring opportunities for her teammates.

The class of 2025 attacker opened the showcase with a strong two-assist performance, jumpstarting the offense in SBV’s 4-0 defeat of Alabama FC.

Helped lead her team to an unbeaten 2-0-1 record in Florida, as she found the net five times over the course of three games.

Accounted for three goals during her team’s two wins at ECNL Florida, including a brace during FC Dallas’ 4-0 rout of SUSA in their final match.

Consistently set up her teammates with strong scoring opportunities, providing a pair of assists on Sunday in her side’s win over SUSA.

Garrison was fantastic as a forward for NC Fusion over the weekend, setting up her teammates for success within the 18 with well-timed and perfectly-weighted passes. She also scored a goal during her team’s 3-0 win over PacNW SC.

Aurora Gaines | Forward
Concorde Fire Platinum U-16 (GA)
Instrumental in her side’s perfect 3-0-0 showing at the showcase, Gaines scored the game-winning goal against WNY Flash Academy, and she tallied crucial assists in a pair of one-goal victories over DKSC and Michigan Hawks.
U-17
Provided the game-winner on Day 1, and followed up with another goal and an assist on Day 2, during what proved to be a perfect weekend for Sporting Blue Valley.
Serving in the role of super-sub, Rintoul entered the opening match against VDA off the bench and scored two goals while assisting a third, leading Minnesota to a wild 4-3 win.
Playing as an attacking midfielder, Brown scored two goals and had one assist at ECNL Florida, helping Eclipse Select earn an unbeaten 2-0-1 record.
Scored two goals for the East Team in the National Selection Game, including the game-winner. She also scored two goals – including a game-winner against East Meadow SC – and had an assist for her club team to help win the two matches she played with them.

Tennessee SC U-17 (TN)
The U-17 USWNT roster pool player helped Team East win the National Selection Game, and she followed that up with a productive, winning weekend in club play.

The speedy winger was causing trouble all weekend for opposing teams getting behind the defense, creating many corners and other scoring chances, She finished the weekend with 3 assists, and added a goal in the 2-1 come from behind win over Heat FC.

Ohio Elite SA U-17 (OH)
The U-16 forward played up with the U-17 squad and scored both goals in the game vs. Concorde Fire Platinum. She added another on a big shot under pressure, from distance for the game-winner in the 2-1 victory over Heat FC, as the team went 2-1-0 on the weekend.

Dallas Texans U-17 (TX)
Kickstarted the Dallas Texans offense by scoring her team’s opening goal of the tournament. In their second game, Anderson provided the game-winner, and she went on to provide the game-winning assist in their finale.

Dallas Texans U-17 (TX)
Served as a two-way asset as she tallied an assist and provided numerous services into the box, while also putting multiple shots on goal. Playing left back, Vance totaled 254 out of 270 possible minutes over three games for the strong Texans back line.

She played for 240 total minutes in the defensive midfield, leading the team as a captain and providing a dynamic presence whenever there was a transfer in possession.

Played all 270 possible minutes in net, securing a pair of clean sheets against some of the top teams in the nation.

Audrey Oliver | Midfielder
Ohio Premier U-17 (OH)
Stepped up for her team in the National Selection Game to play center back, despite her normal position being in the attacking midfield. After a strong effort in the National Selection Game, Oliver went on to pace the Ohio Premier U-17 offense with multiple goals on the weekend.

Tess Wright | Defender
Liverpool IA Michigan U-17 (MI)
Contributed to a strong defensive effort by the Liverpool IA Michigan back line by providing quick recovery speed and showing good spatial awareness. Wright was effective in 1v1 situations, denying crosses and on throw-ins.
U-18/19
Put up big numbers on the attacking side for NCFC, scoring goals of her own and creating scoring chances for her teammates. Ford finished the event with two goals and two assists.
The 2022 Navy commit made an impact against Penn Fusion coming from her outside back position, scoring from the 18 by hitting a clever ball over the goalie’s outreached hands. Emma also contributed with an assist by putting a dangerous ball on her teammate’s foot after making an overlapping run.
Made a major impact defensively as Michigan limited opponents to one total goal over three games. Against Richmond United, Fisher consistently stole passes at outside back to keep the ball in the Hawks offensive end of the field, to make a 1-0 lead hold up. She was able to accurately pass via foot and head to teammates to keep offensive pressure up.
Playing the entire weekend at center back, Mairn excelled at anticipating through balls to beat forwards to the ball, limiting the opponent’s chances. Consistently made pinpoint passes to teammates to move the ball up the field.
Taylor Hapgood | Goalkeeper
Oklahoma Energy FC U-18/19 (OK)
Played a key role between the posts for Oklahoma Energy FC over the course of the event. OEFC maintained an unbeaten record with a win and two draws, with Hapgood and the back line coming up strong.
