Oklahoma State signs midfielder Blythe Beldner on transfer from Mizzou

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added transfer Blythe Beldner to its roster for the 2022 season.

A midfielder, Beldner played the last four seasons as Missouri. She will have one season of eligibility with the Cowgirls.

“We are very excited to add Blythe to our team for the fall season,” said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. “Blythe has a ton of experience at the Power 5 level. Her pace and ability to deliver quality service from the wide areas will really fit well with how we like to attack.

“She is a terrific student-athlete and a wonderful person, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her at OSU.”

Beldner started all 31 of Missouri’s games over the last two seasons, and she led the team in minutes played in 2020-21.

In 62 career games with the Tigers, 37 of those as a starter, the 5-foot-7 Beldner recorded three goals and three assists.

A native of Wildwood, Mo., Beldner starred at the club level for St. Louis Scott Gallagher and had a standout prep career at Eureka High School, where she led the team to the 2017 Missouri Class 4 state championship and was named the Class 4 Offensive Player of the Year and an all-state performer.
