Villanova men’s soccer signs Holmdel FC midfielder Connor Hinds

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova men’s soccer coaching staff announced its latest addition for the upcoming 2021 fall season. The newest Wildcat is midfielder Connor Hinds of Holmdel FC in Holmdel, N.J.

He is the seventh player to sign with the program for the incoming class.

“Connor is a left sided versatile attacking midfielder from Holmdel, New Jersey,” said head coach Tom Carlin. Connor has the ability to connect/combine through the middle of the field as well as play in wide channels and create quality service in the final third. Connor’s hard-working mentality will allow him to play a few different positions within our system of play. Connor is a Villanova legacy and shares our belief of doing more for others.  We look forward to helping Connor excel at Villanova and know he will have a bright future as a Wildcat!”

Hinds joins a class that also includes fellow freshmen to be Kyle Dixon, Balthi Saunders, Vincent Petrera, Oneil Dawes, Tommy Johnson and Jordan Canica.

The Wildcats will begin preseason workouts ahead of the 2021 regular season campaign next month.
