University of Oregon midfielder Sofi Vinas transfers to Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, MD – After playing three seasons at the University of Oregon, midfielder Sofi Vinas has transferred to the University of Maryland to join the women’s soccer program and to play for head coach Meghan Ryan Nemzer

Vinas will be reunited with her club teammate Sydney Hopkins as both played with Real So Cal in the ECNL.

As a Junior at Oregon (2021):

  • Saw action in nine matches, making first career start against Northern Arizona

As a Sophomore at Oregon (Spring 21):
