Tophat forward signs with the University of Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia head soccer coach Billy Lesesne has added Lawrenceville native Danielle Lewin to the 2021 signing class.

Lewin is a forward currently playing club soccer for Tophat and attending Collins Hill High School. She was invited to the Jamaica National Team camp for an opportunity to represent Jamaica in the U17 Women’s World Cup, but was cancelled due to COVID-19.

“Danielle is a high-level forward who should come into our team and impact us immediately,” Lesesne said. “She is well regarded in the soccer community and we look forward to the exposure this signing brings to our program.”

Lewin will join: Madeleine Barre (Atlanta, Ga.), Liz Beardsley (Lakeland, Fla.), Caroline Belisle (Atlanta, Ga.), Jessie Dunn (Charlotte, N.C.), Faith Ferrer (Atlanta, Ga.), Ellie Gilbert (Atlanta, Ga.), Morgan Hart (Charlotte, N.C.), Chandler Kenny (Atlanta, Ga.), M Middleton (Columbus, Ga.), Isabella Muzzolini (Vancouver, Canada), Mia Parkhurst (Menlo Park, Ca.), Rachel Suttle (Atlanta, Ga.), and Becca Womer (Palo Alto, Ca.) as freshmen in the fall of 2021.
