Super Y League Finals canceled due to COVID-19 precautions

TAMPA, Fla. – The Super Y League announced on Friday the cancelation of the 2020 Super Y League Finals.

The league made the final decision to cancel the event with the health and safety of the players, families and staff members involved as its top priority.

“We know how hard all of our players and families work in pursuit of reaching the Super Y League Finals,” said Super Y League Vice President Joel Nash. “It is because of that hard work that the league is in such a strong position as we now look ahead to the 2021 season. We can’t wait to watch everyone return to the field and compete when it is safe to do so.”

The league intends to continue to host the Super Y Finals in the future as the league builds on a history of more than two decades providing a platform for player development in North American soccer. Information about the 2021 Super Y League season will be announced as it becomes available.
