Rutgers women’s soccer introduces No. 7 ranked recruiting class

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women’s soccer 2021-22 incoming class, featuring seven standouts who all played club soccer for PDA, is ranked No. 7 nationally by Top Drawer Soccer. The signees include: Kassidy Banks, Kylie Daigle, Gia Girman, Cammie Kennett, Emily Mason, Courtney Ruedt and Riley Tiernan.

The group consists of two national champions, three state champions, four high school all-Americans, two youth USWNT members, six team captains, and a Gatorade Player of the Year. Additionally, all members of the class hail from the tri-state area, boasting six of seven from New Jersey.

“We are very excited to welcome the 2021 class to our family,” said Head Coach Mike O’Neill. “This class will add depth to an already deep team and we expect them to have an immediate impact in every position.”

“To be a part of this program each player understands the responsibility and work ethic it takes. The staff and I are looking forward to helping them grow as people and players over the next four years here ‘On the Banks’.”
