Inaugural Jefferson Cup Players Combine to be held in March 2022
The Jefferson Cup, one of the top-rated youth soccer showcases in the United States, will host their inaugural Jefferson Cup Players Combine this March.
Players from across the country will be invited to attend and some of the top Division I, II, III, and NAIA College coaches will run training sessions. Each combine will feature a training session and game to be recorded via VEO. The VEO link will be sent to all participants as well as all college coaches attending Jefferson Cup that weekend.
Both the Girls and Boys Combine events will be held at Glover Park in Glen Allen, Va. ahead of each showcase weekend. The Girls Combine will take place on Thursday, March 24 and the Boys Combine will be conducted the following week on Thursday, March 31. All players graduating in 2023 and 2024 are eligible to attend the combine.
Players will be assigned to a team with a current college coach serving as the head coach. College coaches will run a training session with their team in the afternoon and then players will compete in one 70 minute game later that day.
Goalkeeper coaches will run a goalkeeper specific session at the beginning of Session I and then be integrated back into their team training.
