Duke rounds out 2022 recruiting class with signing of Caroline Duffy

DURHAM – Duke women’s soccer head coach Robbie Church has announced the addition of goalkeeper Caroline Duffy, who will compete for the Blue Devils in the fall of 2022.

“We’re excited to add Caroline to our women’s soccer program,” said Church. “We think she is an outstanding fit. She’s excellent in all areas – excellent in the classroom, excellent on the soccer field and is a really fine young lady. We’re excited about her skill set coming in. We think that she will be able to come in and be a great complement to Ruthie [Jones] and they will push each other. She will add a lot in our goalkeeper area. We look forward to having Caroline in our program, and we look forward to watching her grow over the years.”

Duffy rounds out Duke’s 2022 signing class, which is ranked No. 4 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer.com. She is set to join the Blue Devils alongside Taylor Evans, Carina Lageyre, Devin Lynch, Elle Piper and Katherine Rader, who each signed in November.
