Arizona State adds Olivia Coleman to 2021 recruiting class
TEMPE, Ariz. –Arizona State head coach Graham Winkworth and the Sun Devil Soccer team announced an additional signee, Olivia Coleman, to the 2021 recruiting class.
Coleman joins five other new Sun Devils in the Class of 2021 who signed in November and graduate transfer Jayda Hylton-Pelaia who signed earlier this month.
“I am very excited to add Liv to the program. She has the type of personality that puts a smile on the face of everyone around her,” said Winkworth. “It has been very challenging to recruit through this period where we all live on zoom calls. Talking to Liv has always been so easy, and I have no doubt she will fit into the family-like culture we are creating here at ASU.”

Coach’s Comments: “On the field, Liv is a talented central defender. She is solid in the air, wins challenges, and is very difficult to beat one-on-one. She hopes to set some high school records in the 100-meter soon, which tells you she also has next level pace and speed we will enjoy. Liv comes from a top program in Lonestar and has been very well-coached on both sides of the ball in the way her club plays. She is comfortable playing out the back while possesses the natural defensive attitude of not wanting to get beat. We are delighted to add her to our very deep and talented defensive group for the fall of 2021.”
