The U.S. Women's National Team put on a show in its penultimate game of 2016, defeating Romania 8-1 in front of 16,425 fans at Avaya Stadium. It was the first meeting between the countries in women's soccer.

USWNT set to face Romania on Thursday in San Jose
The U.S. Women's National Team will wrap up its 2016 schedule with a pair of matches against Romania in California beginning on Thursday, Nov. 10 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose (7 p.m. PT on ESPN2), followed by a second game on Sunday, Nov. 13 at StubHub Center in Carson (6:30 p.m. PT on FS1). These will be the USA's first games against Romania in the history of the programs.

Jessica McDonald, Emily Menges added to USWNT training camp roster
U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Jill Ellis has made two changes to the roster for the November training camp in California. Forward Jessica McDonald and defender Emily Menges will replace defenders Jaelene Hinkle and Meghan Klingenberg on the 24-player squad set to face Romania on Nov. 10 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose (7 p.m. PT; ESPN2) and on Nov. 13 at StubHub Center in Carson (6:30 p.m. PT; FS1).

USWNT roster named for upcoming friendlies vs. Romania
U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Jill Ellis has named 24 players to the training camp roster ahead of two matches against Romania, on Nov. 10 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, Calif. (7 p.m. PT on ESPN2) and Nov. 13 at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. (6:30 p.m. PT on FS1). Ellis will name 18 players to suit up for each match. These will be the final games for the USA in 2016.

USWNT defeats Switzerland 5-1 in Minneapolis on Sunday
Reigning FIFA Women's World Player of the Year Carli Lloyd led the U.S. Women's National Team to a 5-1 win against Switzerland on an another record-setting day in front of a crowd of 23,400 fans at U.S. Bank Stadium, the largest to watch the U.S. Women in the state of Minnesota.

USWNT facing Switzerland in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon
Coming off a convincing 4-0 victory against Switzerland on Oct. 19 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, the U.S. Women's National Team will play the second leg of the two-game set on Oct. 23 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. (12:45 p.m. CT on FS1), as the 2016 schedule nears completion. It will be the USA's first visit to Minnesota in more than 10 years.

The U.S. Women's National Team put on a second-half show highlighted by debutante Lynn Williams game-winning goal just 49 seconds into her first international appearance to defeat Switzerland 4-0 in front of a boisterous crowd of 14,336 at Rio Tinto Stadium.
