University of Oklahoma adds Elizabeth and Rami Rapp to 2022 signing class

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma soccer and head coach Mark Carr announced the addition of Elizabeth and Rami Rapp to the 2022 signing class.

The Rapp sisters come to Norman from Evergreen Senior High School in Evergreen, Colo., and will join the Sooners in the fall of 2022.

Head Coach Mark Carr on the signings of Elizabeth and Rami Rapp: “We’re really excited to welcome both Rami and Eli into our OU soccer family. I see great potential in both of them. They are both driven young women, excited for this opportunity, hungry to improve and contribute to what we are building here at OU. I know they each possess the relentless work ethic, competitiveness and desire to help take our program where we want to go.”

  • 2019, 2021 Team conference champions

  • Has played outside back and outside forward throughout high school career

    • Tallied 8 goals and 6 assists in 39 games played
    • 2021 ECNL Playoffs participant

Eli Rapp on signing with Oklahoma Soccer: “The reason I choose to commit to play soccer at the University of Oklahoma is because the program will provide me an opportunity to prove myself in a high-level collegiate division and it’s something I am so excited for because I get to play with and compete against other elite athletes. Due to the commitment of the coaching staff and the players, OU soccer will be a challenge, a lifestyle, and a family that I want to be a part of.”

  • Club Soccer with Real Colorado 03/04 Athletico Girls: 2021 ECNL Playoffs participant

Rami Rapp on signing with Oklahoma Soccer: “The reason that I chose to play soccer at The University of Oklahoma is because I love the culture that Coach Carr and the rest of the staff are trying to create. I think that OU is an amazing university that will challenge me and push me to be the best version of myself. The women’s soccer program is one that I can see myself thriving in and becoming the best student-athlete I can possibly be. Coach Carr and the Oklahoma soccer team seem like such a family, and they are a program that I can compete at and be on a team striving for greatness together.
