NC State men’s soccer adds four to roster for Spring 2022

RALEIGH – As the NC State men’s soccer team continues preparation for the 2022 campaign, head coach George Kiefer and his staff welcome a solid incoming class of signees.

These four members of the 2022 signing class arrived in Raleigh at the start of the spring semester to begin immediately training with the Wolfpack.

Conor Kelly • Midfielder
Rumson, N.J. • Transfer from Duke

• Earned spot on Cedar Stars U16 academy squad and scored 32 goals in three academy seasons with the club
• Voted for Development Academy Summer Showcase Best XI
• Played in 54 career games at Duke and made NCAA Sweet 16 appearances with the team in 2018 and 2021
• Named No. 47 best prospect out of high school according to College Soccer News
• Son of Jeanne and Sean

Drew Lovelace • Midfielder
Holly Springs, N.C. • Wake FC

• Selected to USL2 Team of the Year
• NC High School OT Player of the Year
• 2x First Team All Mid-Atlantic and First Team All-State
• State Cup champion
• Graduated magna cum laude and was a member of National Honors Society

Jeremiah Luoma • Forward
Atlanta, Ga. • Atlanta United

• Spent two years in the Atlanta United Academy
• Participated in the Donosti Cup in Spain
• Competed in Mercedes Benz Cup in Germany
• MAC All-Academic Team at Georgia Southern

Cristian Zaragoza • Defender
Dalton, Ga. • Chattanooga Red Wolves

• Signed an academy contract with USL1 Chattanooga Red Wolves
• 2019 6A State Champion as a member of Dalton High School team
• 2x State Champions with CFA
• Member of the CFA Leadership Academy
