“The Midwest Conference is excited to have these boys clubs playing in this season’s Club vs. Club Divisions. This collection of clubs will produce a great competitive environment that will also provide an optimal setting for player development opportunities,” said Marc Frankland, league manager for the Midwest Conference. “We received very positive initial feedback during our shortened inaugural Club vs. Club Division competition earlier in the spring of 2020, and we’re looking forward to providing a great playing format in the coming year.”
The Midwest Regional Championship qualifiers from the Club vs. Club Divisions will join the conference’s team-based Premier I Division qualifiers at Regionals. Each of the National League’s 13 Conferences, including the Midwest Conference, provide a pathway for their top teams to advance to their respective Regional Championships. Conference teams also have access to the new National League Showcase Series and National League Playoffs, which each provide teams with a chance to play cross-conference matches in a national setting with increased exposure to college, professional and national team scouts.

Hear from some of the boys clubs that are set to compete in the Midwest Conference Club vs. Club Divisions:
“This is great news for our club and an honor to be part of the Club vs. Club Division for spring 2021 season. It will definitely help our players for their development competing against other strong clubs in this division. Playing games with our 15U-19U boys at the same location will help build our club culture, where teams can stay and support each other and be able to watch their fellow club mates. Also being able to qualify to the US Youth Soccer Regional Championships will motivate our players even more. We have been a supporter of the USYS competitions in the past and we are thankful that we have this opportunity to compete in this strong division.”
Srgjan Smileski, Libertyville FC 1974, Director of Coaching
“At St. Louis Scott Gallagher, one of our most important core values is UNITY. The Midwest Conference Club vs. Club Divisions give us a unique opportunity to have a unified collection of teams competing against another club. Supporting and watching each other’s games is great, but having an individual team feeling like their result is part of a much bigger picture to the entire CLUB is what makes this league special.”
Andy Cooper, SLSG Elite, Boys Director
“We are really excited for the Midwest Conference Boys Club vs. Club Division to begin this spring. The league will bring together some great clubs, which will provide our players with some fantastic matches. The Club vs. Club system allows us to create a high-level environment for our players in the 15U-19U age groups, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
