Loudoun Soccer partners with local church providing soccer gear to Haiti

Loudoun Soccer and Leesburg United Methodist Church have joined in a partnership to provide gently used soccer equipment and gear donations to children and youth in Haiti.

Boys wrap up first leg of US Youth Soccer National League

PSW: The first weekend of play for the US Youth Soccer National League Under-14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 Boys divisions wrapped up in Wilson, N.C. on Sunday. Local teams Arlington Impact Red (4-0-0) and Baltimore Celtic (3-0-1) dominated the U17 age group, strengthening their chances of returning to the USYS National Championships this summer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

PSW: U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach John Hackworth will lead a 36-player domestic camp from Dec. 13-20 in Bradenton, Florida. Potomac area players Quantrell Jones (Baltimore Celtic), Chandler Vaughn, (D.C. United Academy) and Christopher Durkin (Richmond United) have been named to the roster. North American champions crowned at Super Y Finals

After five days of competition involving 120 boys and girls teams from across the United States and Canada, Tuesday saw 12 champions crowned at the Super Y-League North American Finals, presented by Nike, at the world-class facilities of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Despite rain, high-paced soccer on display at day two of CCL Fall Showcase

Despite rain coming down throughout the afternoon on Saturday, the play on the turf fields at River City SportsPlex and Stratton Park remained strong on day two of the CCL Fall Showcase. There was no shortage of great match-ups on the boys and girls sides, including several rivalry matches stemming from State Cup and league play.
