US Youth Soccer Region 1 2001 Boys ODP team places 4th of 36 in Italy Tournament
The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) Boys Region I 2001 team recently completed a trip to Italy to participate in the Piccole Grandi Squadre Tournament. Region I netted a top-four finish in a tournament that featured 36 teams with European youth national teams, as well as academy teams from prestigious clubs in Italy among the field. Lorenzo Gordon, Ryan Levay, Dennis Mensah, Alexander Robles, Jack Ruddy, Tyler Smith and Garret Socas represented Virginia for the Region I squad.

D.C. United Academy players to train with F.C. Internazionale in Italy
D.C. United has announced that a select group of D.C. United Academy players will train with their age-group counterparts at partner club F.C. Internazionale from May 3-8. Players from United’s U-14, U-16, and U-18 Development Academy teams will travel to Italy and take part in practice sessions at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti.
