Top college programs set to attend Club Champions League Fall Showcase

The Club Champions League is holding its Fall College Showcase this weekend Dec. 5-7 at River City SportsPlex and Stratton Park in Richmond, Va., where all of their U15-U18/19 teams will play three final games of the fall portion of the 2014-15 league season.

The five-day tournament featured elite girls teams in the 1997-2000 age groups from each of the four US Youth Soccer Regions.

The Bethesda Tournament Boys Weekend was played from Nov. 21-23, with 55 U.S. Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer state champions, four regional champions and one national champion competing in age groups ranging from U9-U19.

Between the girls edition last weekend and the boys brackets that kick off on Friday, it’s been a busy stretch for the Bethesda Soccer Club and their Thanksgiving Tournament, featuring just shy of 1,000 Under-9 through U-19 teams taking the pitch in search of glory.
