Schedule and rosters announced for ECNL Mid-Atlantic PDP

The rosters and schedule for the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Player Development Program event to be held in Richmond, VA on May 2-3, 2015, have been announced. The event will be held at West Creek Soccer Complex, with some of the best players from the following ECNL clubs in the Mid-Atlantic Conference: Bethesda SC, CASL, FC Virginia, McLean YS, NC Fusion, and Richmond United.

Multiple aspects of club building on display at CCL ScrimmageFest

The Club Champions League hosted ScrimmageFest this weekend as SYA Park in Centreville, Va. where 82 U-9 and U-10 teams played a total of 168 games - or 5,040 minutes - of free soccer without referees, stoppages or a scoreboard.

CCL ScrimmageFest laying groundwork for club development

The spring edition of ScrimmageFest, an event hosted by the Club Champions League for U-9 and U-10 teams, is being played this weekend at SYA Sports Park in Centreville, Va. A total of 82 teams from 11 CCL clubs – Arlington Soccer, BRYC, DC Stoddert, Loudoun Soccer, McLean YS, Maryland United FC, Potomac SA, SYA, Annandale United FC, FC Frederick and SOCA – will play four 30-minute games each, 7v7 on small-sided fields. Often described as an organized version of street soccer, there are no official stoppages, substitution limits or referees.

TSW: The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) Girls Region I 1997 team continued Region I’s international success with a second-place finish in the 43rd Menton Tournament in France. Players representing the Tri-State area make up the majority of the team's roster.
