Manhattan Cruzeiro, who have played together since age 9, won the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) Boys-Under-18 State Open Cuptitle with a 3-0 shutout of the Massapequa Raptors. It was Manhattan Cruzeiro’s third State Open Cup title in five years.
Massapequa Aces U-17 Boys repeat as ENY State Cup champions
The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) Boys-Under-17 final game on June 5 at Stringham Park in LaGrange featured two Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) teams who know one another well. This game was also a rematch of last year’s final that the Massapequa Aces won, 4-0, over the Smithtown Galaxy.
Dix Hills Hurricanes U-16 Boys win 3rd straight ENY State Cup title
As US Youth Soccer National League champions, the Dix Hills Hurricanes of the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) have already qualified for the national championships this July in Frisco, Texas. But they added their third consecutive State Open Cup with a 3-0 win over the Pleasant Valley Cobras of the East Hudson Youth Soccer League (EHYSL) on June 4 at Stringham Park in LaGrange.
