Baltimore Celtic builds on success, sends six teams to Region I Championships
After winning the national championship in the U-16 division last year, Baltimore Celtic SC will send teams from six age groups to the 2015 US Youth Soccer Region I Championships held June 25 – 30 in Barboursville, West Virginia.

Virginia, Maryland sending 42 total teams to Region I Championships
Potomac area clubs will be in full force at the upcoming US Youth Soccer Region I Championships in Barboursville, West Virginia from Friday, June 26 to Tuesday, June 30. A total of 22 Maryland teams and 20 Virginia sides have qualified for the event, where state champions, Region I Premier League champions and select wild cards from the 15 eastern states will compete to be crowned the Region I Champion and advance to the National Championships.

Virginia ODP 1999 Girls, 2000 Boys win Region I titles
The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) 1999 Girls and 2000 Boys Olympic Development Program (ODP) teams captured regional titles over the weekend at the US Youth Soccer Region I ODP Tournament in New Castle, Delaware.

Alianza Peru U-14 Boys claim Arch Capital Group Cup title
The Boys-Under-14 Arch Capital Group Cup final on June 13 at the Peter Collins Soccer Park in Plainview went to overtime and was decided in a shootout between two teams from Queens. Alianza Peru of the Big Apple Youth Soccer League (BAYSL) tied Eleftheria Spartans of the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL), 1-1, after regulation and two overtimes but Alianza became the Kings of Queens by virtue of their 4-1 shootout win.

Merrick/South Merrick Impact U-14 Girls win Arch Capital Group Cup
The Merrick/South Merrick Impact of the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) topped Big Apple Manchester of the Big Apple Youth Soccer League (BAYSL), 2-1, on June 13 at the Peter Collins Soccer Park in Plainview to capture the Girls-Under-14 Arch Capital Group Cup.
