US Club Soccer National Cup XIV kicks off with Boys West Regional

(Via US Club Soccer) – The National Cup XIV, US Club Soccer’s cup-based national championship series, kicked off at the National Cup XIV West Regional (Boys) in Davis, Calif., June 13-16.

The West Regional (Boys), open to U-11 through U-18/19 boys teams, was the first of six Regional events held in five locations around the country. Next month, the National Cup XIV culminates with the National Cup XIV Finals, featuring Regionals and state cup qualifiers in the U-13 through U-17 boys and girls age groups.

During the West Regional (Boys), 130 teams competed among 15 divisions divvied up between three facilities – Davis Legacy Soccer Complex, Granite Regional Park and Nugget Fields.

FC Golden State (Calif.) sent three teams to the winners’ podium, as it claimed titles in the U-16 Super Group, U-16 Premier Group and U-18/19 Super Group.

The following teams are champions of their respective age groups. The U-13 through U-17 winners qualify directly to the National Cup XIV Finals:
