Northern Virginia club Arlington Soccer joining ECNL Girls

RICHMOND, VA – The ECNL Girls announced that Arlington Soccer Association will join the league for the 2021-22 season.

Bringing Arlington Soccer into the league continues to bolster the talent and competition within the ECNL’s Mid-Atlantic Conference. Currently, Arlington’s top girls teams are playing in the Girls Academy for the 2020-21 campaign.

“The ECNL continually provides players, clubs and coaches with the ability to achieve their goals through top-level competition,” said ECNL Girls Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “We are excited to have Arlington Soccer join the league to continue that mission. Players will experience new competition and face new programs through the ECNL platform, and the addition of new member clubs fulfills the demand for a constantly growing and increasing standard of excellence to keep the nation’s best players challenged.”
