NED – Tein Troost, 17th minute: Taking possession after halting a dangerous Dutch attack, the U.S. offense sent a pass to Dante Sealy with space at the 18-yard-line. He teed-up a shot to the left side, but Troost dove to squash one of the USA’s first attempts on goal.
USA – Kashope Oladapo, 36th minute: As the USA attempted to build up from the back, the Netherlands stole the ball and quickly turned it back the other way. Joel van Kaam found the rebound, but the U.S. defense picked it away from him and transitioned back the other way.
NED – Kashope Oladapo, 38th minute: Troost found van Kaam free and on the run, coming in hot up the right wing with no defenders in his lane moving forward. As two U.S. players closed in, he pulled the trigger, trying to slot a shot towards the left side, but Oladapo dove to get his feet on it and popped it out-of-bounds.
NED – Tein Troost, 49th minute: In the Netherlands half and patiently looking for an opportunity, Mason Judge winnowed his way laterally across the field and played to Gilbert Fuentes Perez near the far sideline.
