ECNL Northeast Conference Recap: Sept. 26-27, 2015
Defense was the theme of the weekend in the ECNL Northeast Conference U-14 age group, as at least one team earned a clean sheet in five of the six matches. See below for a recap of the action in the conference.
U-14
PDA was the big winner in the division this weekend, outscoring FC Bucks and Penn Fusion Soccer Association by a combined score of 7-0 to move up to second place. Fellow New Jersey side Match Fit Academy remains unbeaten and in first place after earning two draws on the weekend. Match Fit’s defense continued its strong start to the season, allowing just one goal in two matches. The division leaders played East Meadow to a 1-1 draw on Saturday before a scoreless draw against Albertson Fury on Sunday.

Albertson, currently third place in the New England Division, is also unbeaten through four matches following a 1-0-1 weekend. The Fury blanked Continental FC Delco 1-0 on Saturday, and earned their third shutout in four games on Sunday against Match Fit.
After dropping the 5-0 decision to PDA on Saturday, FC Bucks were defeated by World Class FC 3-0 on Sunday, falling to 0-3-0 on the young season.
