Virginia Wesleyan’s Jeff Bowers is a busy man, and doing quite fine, thank you much

And we thought Leigh Cowlishaw was busy with his myriad responsibilities for the Richmond Kickers and as the interim coach of the Richmond Spiders.
Virginia Wesleyan’s Jeff Bowers is a pretty busy man himself.
Bowers has coached the Marlins’ women’s soccer team for the past 12 years, and this season, he has added duties as the Virginia Beach school’s men’s soccer coach also.
He seems to be managing it just fine, as the women are 5-0-1 and ranked No. 14 in Division III and No. 3 in the South Atlantic rankings, and the men, while not quite as successful, knocked off last season’s Division III national champions Ohio Wesleyan 3-0 earlier this season.
“I’m better when I’m busier,” Bowers told the Virginian Pilot newspaper.
The school’s soccer teams seem better off with him at the helm.
