Players That Impressed: ECNL Girls Florida National Event (Winter 2026)

The 2025 ECNL Girls Florida National Event took place from January 10-12, as 230 of the nation’s best teams in the country competed in the U16-U18/19 age groups.

In the first major college recruiting event of the New Year, ECNL Florida served as a pivotal proving ground for uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects, in addition to those from the Class of 2028 who will enter their active recruiting window in June.

Claire Karsman

Midfielder
PA

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy 2010 standout made her presence felt with an outstanding goal against Maryland United FC. Karsman showed her elite athleticism, toughness and speed all on one play as she forced a turnover with some aggressive high pressure, before bursting into the box and beating the keeper with a crafty low shot on the run. Caceres came up huge for Florida Kraze Krush 2009 during their thrilling 4-3 victory over Eclipse Select SC. The Paraguay U-17 National Team roster pool member delivered a key assist and won a ball to set up the possession for another goal, making her presence felt in the midfield throughout the match. The ECNL All-Conference attacking midfielder shined for Penn Fusion 2010, coming through with a big goal during her team’s 2-0 win over Crossfire Platinum. Barnes was integral in Fusion’s fast-paced attack which featured a lot of crisp passing in the final third. Barnes buried a powerful shot past the keeper after receiving a key feed from Olivia Rife. Maya Dhruna, goalkeeper for Michigan Hawks 2010, has played a key role in leading her team as the reigning ECNL National Champions. She conceded only 1 goal while using strong communication to organize the back line and guide her team through each match. She also shows quick decision-making, confident distribution, and explosive shot-stopping, staying composed under pressure and helping her team build play from the back in high-level competition.

A speedy left-footed attacker for Sting Royal 2010, Parker jumps out as an exciting Class of 2028 prospect. She has a knack for getting behind the defense with well-timed runs, quickly turning plays into 1v1 opportunities between her and the opposing keeper. Eclipse Select SC 2009 (IL)

Served a central role in the Eclipse Select 2009 offense during their 4-2 win over Alabama FC on Day 2, as she scored 1 goal and assisted her teammate on another big goal to help put the game away. Sansone also scored on Day 1 during a high-flying 4-3 loss against Florida Kraze Krush. She’s an impressive attacking midfielder as a Class of 2028 player, competing in the 2009 age group among mostly 2027s.

This versatile, box-to-box midfielder who does it all for the team. A true two-way player, she brings relentless effort and hustle on both sides of the ball. She distributes well, makes smart decisions under pressure, and can finish when it matters. She capped her performance with the fourth goal against Concorde Fire Platinum, sealing an eventual 4–2 victory.

This Class of 2027 Michigan State commit stole the show during the National Selection Game, earning Player of the Match honors after she led the West Team to victory. A 2024-25 ECNL All-American, LePage is a dynamic goal-scorer and an excellent all-around attacking player with top tier speed, strength and a relentless motor.

Mia posted a clean sheet weekend for Rockford Raptors 2009, racking up 8 saves in here 3 shutout. Most impressive was a nice 1v1 save and a PK save to end the game and secure the 2-0 win against Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy to get the weekend started.

A consistent contributor for Rockford Raptors 2009, Morelli had an extremely active presence on the front line during her team’s successful performances in Florida. She recorded an assist in a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy, and scored a goal in a 3-0 victory against Portland Thorns Academy.

This uncommitted Class of 2027 goalkeeper helped Sting Royal 2009 secure a point in their 0-0 draw against a renowned VDA squad. Pike made a diving save at the corner of the goal during the defensive battle, in the first of two consecutive clean sheets for her squad. The uncommitted midfielder led her team with 2 goals and several other promising opportunities in the two games she played. Her vision and range of distributing passes with both feet from the midfield resulted in an immediate impact to her team, helping them press high up the field. With her powerful legs, she provided perfect service on free kicks and corners as well.

Washington Premier 2009 (WA)

Playing limited minutes in her first event in over a year coming off of an injury, Addyson scored 2 goals and had a third called back from an offside call. She helped her team go 2-1 at the event, turning in a successful showing as she rounds into form heading into 2026.

Tatum Harig | Defender 
Solar SC 2010 (TX)

Tatum Harig, the newest member of Solar 2009 continued to shine in Florida with her quick decisive play and accurate passing. She’s a vocal leader from her wingback position and is effective at switching the ball up the field quickly to open up runs for herself offensively. Her ability to force turnovers frequently caused opposing offenses to avoid her area of the field. Her stock as an uncommitted 2027 player on now 24-0 Solar 2009 continues to quickly rise.

Magana was heavily involved in the Eclipse Select SC 2008/2007 attack, scoring a pair of goals and contributing an assist at the showcase. The Class of 2026 midfielder helped her team post an unbeaten 2-0-1 record in Florida, providing some key plays on a weekend where every goal mattered, as all 3 of their games were decided by a single goal or ended in a draw.
