US Youth Soccer Regional Showcase NJ: U15-U19 Boys Recap
By Evan Unger, EDPSoccer.com
Teams played in diverse cross-conference matchups against opponents from differing parts of the region. Teams from 5 of the 13 USYS National League Conferences were in attendance, including those from the New England Conference, North Atlantic Conference, Mid Atlantic Conference, South Atlantic Conference and Great Lakes Conference.
College coaches from Division II and III schools were in attendance, as they looked to round out their 2021 recruiting class and prepare for the future with prospects from the classes of 2022, 2023 and 2024. In addition to the college coaches on site, all 17U-19U games were recorded so that Division I coaches (NCAA mandated dead period until 5/31/21), and coaches who were not able to make the event due to budget and travel restrictions, will be able to evaluate players with video after the event through EDP Soccer’s partnership with ScoutingZone and Next Level Video.
