United Soccer Coaches shares first set of Spring High School Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — United Soccer Coaches released the first set of regular season high school boys’ and girls’ spring soccer rankings on Tuesday.

Myers Park (Charlotte, N.C.) is off to a 4-0-0 start and claims the top spot in the first boys’ poll of the spring season. McIntosh (Peachtree City, Ga.) is 13-0-0 and No. 2 in the rankings. The Top 5 is rounded out by Mustang (Mustang, Okla.) in third, Dalton (Dalton, Ga.) in fourth, and Lincoln (Portland, Ore.) in fifth.

Johns Creek (Johns Creek, Ga.) is atop the first girls’ ranking with the help of a 9-0-0 record. The No. 2 spot is claimed by Providence Day School (Charlotte, N.C.) who is 4-0-0. Metro Christian (Tulsa, Okla.) is third, followed by Bishop O’Connell (Arlington, Va.) and Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) rounding out the top five.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several states that normally play in the fall have shifted their competition to the spring.
