Michigan Jaguars FC incorporates La Forza Soccer Club as new branch

NOVI, Mich. – Michigan Jaguars FC has announced that La Forza Soccer Club will join the organization to become Michigan Jaguars FC Genesee. The new branch will compete as part of Michigan Jaguars FC starting with tryouts in June 2021.

“We have played against La Forza for many years,” said Michigan Jaguars FC Executive Director Paul Tinnion. “We are excited to welcome the new Genesee branch to the family and implement our player development program with its players and coaches.”

The La Forza Soccer Club was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organization based in Fenton with the goal of developing player ability, fitness, and self-confidence in teams that play soccer at a competitive level.

“La Forza Soccer Club is excited to partner with Michigan Jaguars FC,” said Club Director Mike Gilmour. “Its mission of creating the best possible soccer experience for every player, regardless of skill, is in line with our philosophy. We look forward to providing our players with more opportunities in the years to come.”

As a new branch, Michigan Jaguars FC Genesee will collaborate closely with the club’s five other branches.

“The addition of the Genesee branch is fantastic news for us all,” said new Michigan Jaguars FC Huron Valley Director of Coaching Martin Clegg. “Through my previous encounters with their coaching staff and teams out on the field, I know we are adding a superb branch to our organization. As the closest neighbor to Genesee, Huron Valley is looking forward to our working relationship and how we can support each other by improving the experience and environment for all Jaguars players and families in both our areas.”
