By Jimmy LaRoue
While the Jefferson Cup is well-known for being a premier college showcase event, it also has a bevy of talent in the younger age groups.
Nowhere was this more evident than during Saturday’s play in the U10 through U12 Championship brackets at Striker Park.
Players put forth playground-like moves on the dribble, with goalkeepers making diving saves and defenders clearing shots off the goal line.
And still, the younger players are learning more about tactical awareness.
