Edmond Soccer Club in Oklahoma appoints Michael Moritz as Academy Director

Edmond Soccer Club has announced the addition of Michael Moritz as the new Academy Director for the Fall 2020 season.

Moritz joins Edmond SC having spent the last two years as a women’s assistant coach at Rogers State University, while also serving as technical director for the Oklahoma Energy East DA program.

Moritz coached at Oklahoma Energy East for the last 4 years and led the Union Redskins men’s soccer team in his first year to a state runner-up finish.

Prior to coaching in Tulsa, he spent 4 years as the women’s soccer coach at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas and led them to a Texas State Championship while also coaching in the Academy at Dallas Solar.

Moritz was also the Owner/Academy Director of Left Foot Soccer Studio SC in Dallas. He played at the University of Central Arkansas and was a 2-time University Student Athlete of the Year.
