TSW: New Jersey clubs dominated the 2015 Girls EDP Cup, as 10 teams from nine clubs representing the host state secured division titles. Match Fit Academy, TSF Academy, Hamilton Elite FC, Freehold SL, STA Morris United, New Jersey Rush, Scotch Plains Fanwood SA, NJ Stallions Academy and Rage FC Premier each had teams capture championships at the event, one of the highest level showcase events on the East Coast. Champions crowned at US Youth Soccer Region II Championships
After five days of play, champions were crowned at the 2015 US Youth Soccer Region II (Midwest) Championships in Fox Cities, Wis. Winners in the Under-13 through Under-19 Boys and Girls matches earned a Regional title and a berth to the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Championships July 21-26 at the Mohawk Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Okla.
EDP Cup: New Jersey clubs earn 11 Boys Showcase division titles
For the college coaches and scouts in attendance on June 13 and 14, Hammonton, N.J., must have seemed like a buffet of talent. Hundreds of the top U-15, U-16 and U-17 youth soccer teams in the nation gathered over the course of a weekend to participate in the Eastern Development Program Spring Tournament, frequently known as the EDP Cup.
