Roster named for U.S. Soccer Boys National Team Futures Camp
A 64-player roster has been called to Carson, Calif. for U.S. Soccer’s first Boys’ National Team Futures Camp of 2017. The training camp, which consists of players who were born in 2002 and 2003, runs from May 26-30 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center.
U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team plays Japan to 2-2 draw

Jill Ellis names USWNT roster for friendlies in Sweden, Norway
U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Jill Ellis has named 21 players to travel to Scandinavia for matches against Sweden on June 8 at Gamla Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg (1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and UDN) and against Norway on June 11 at Komplett Arena in Sandefjord (1 p.m. ET on FOX), which is located on the southeast coast about 75 miles south of Oslo. Ellis will name 18 players to the game day roster for each of the matches.
Tobin Heath accepts position with Portland Thorns FC Girls DA
Portland Thorns FC has announced that midfielder Tobin Heath has expanded her role with the club, assuming a position at the youth level with the club’s newly formed development academy set to launch in the fall of 2017 as the Thorns FC Assistant Youth Technical Director.

U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team midfielder Gedion Zelalem has been ruled out of the FIFA U-20 World Cup after sustaining an injury to his left knee and was subbed out in the 34th minute of the USA's opening Group F game against Ecuador.
