U.S. U-17 MNT standout Timothy Weah inks PSG deal
(Via CONCACAF) – United States under-17 international Timothy Weah has signed a three-year professional contract with Paris-Saint Germain.
Weah, the son of former Liberia international and PSG star George Weah, helped the U.S. to a runner-up finish in the 2017 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship, scoring two goals in six games.
“I’m very proud to continue my adventure with Paris Saint-Germain by signing this professional contract,” said the 17-year-old forward. “I’m with a great club and I can’t wait continue making progress towards my goal of one day playing for the senior team.”
Weah has played with PSG youth teams for three years, helping them to a pair of French U-17 championships.
