Auburn welcomes highly-productive forward Hannah Bell via the transfer portal
AUBURN, AL – Hannah Bell, a three-time all-league attacker and the 2023 Southland Conference Forward and Freshman of the Year, signed to play her fourth season of eligibility with Auburn soccer, head coach James Armstrong announced.
“We are so excited to welcome Hannah to the Auburn family,” Armstrong said. “She is an impact player who fits exactly what we were looking for in this portal window – a coachable and hard-working attacking player who has soccer intelligence. She is capable of both scoring and creating goals and will be very exciting to watch this fall.”
A relentless attacker with a high motor, Bell is no stranger to competing from whistle to whistle as she’s played 75+ minutes 18 times in her career, eight of which were full, 90-minute performances.
In three seasons at East Texas A&M, Bell appeared in 60 matches, earning starts in all but four. She scored 20 goals, seven which proved to be match-winners, and assisted four others.
After exploding onto the college scene with nine goals and an assist as a rookie, Bell was named a First Team All-Southland Conference selection as well as the league’s Freshman and Forward of the Year. She was voted Second Team All-Southland in 2024 and reappeared on the first team in 2025.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Bell competed at Duncanville High School and for Solar Soccer Club at the prep level. At DHS, she was a seven-time letter winner in soccer and cross country. She was named her team’s offensive MVP while also earning TASCO All-Region, All-District and All-State honors as well as Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. She ended her high school career with over 50 goals to her credit.
