OMG! What a Goal! Gonzalo Higuain scores on a cross [Video Highlight]
Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain scored a ridiculous goal in their 2-0 win over Celta Vigo, though it’s not clear whether or not he meant to.
Higuain received the ball on the left flank, and dribbling down the sideline and outside of the box, he sent a cross in with his head down. Instead of hitting a teammate streaking into the box, the the ball went in over the goalkeeper’s head at a seemingly impossible angle.
Did he mean to shoot? “If I said it was a shot you’re not going to believe me,” commented Higuain after the match. “All goals are worth the same.”
