Iva Mei Lian is a versatile center midfielder and forward who is known for her tactical awareness, composure and creative play-making. She dominates the midfield and excels at finding pockets of space, driving offensive transitions and delivering penetrating passes that break through defenses. She recorded her first international goals at the 2025 UEFA Development Tournament in Slovenia with the U15 Bulgaria National Team.

Prior to joining Bethesda SC U14 ECNL Girls 2011, Iva Mei played a year up in age with Baltimore Armour GA 2010 team as a regular starter and key goal contributor. She also competed in the 2023 Olympic Development Program (ODP) Inter-Regionals as part the 2023 ODP East Region Girls 2011 Team. Outside of club, Iva Mei enjoys competing in various futsal, small- and full-sided tournaments across the US.
