SoccerWire.com has announced the Youth Soccer Top 25 Twitter Rankings for September 2016, spotlighting the organizations that have accumulated the largest audiences on the social network.

In the lead-up to the first new season since the massive expansion of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, the USSDA’s Twitter account (@ussoccer_acad) saw the largest percentage increase within the Top 25, growing by 3.6 percent with 786 new followers during the month of August.

Two USSDA clubs – and largely influential youth soccer organizations in their own rights – also saw major growth during the preseason, as CASL (@caslnc) and LA Galaxy Academy (@LAGalaxyAcademy) expanded by 3.3 and 3.2 percent, respectively.

A pair of US Youth Soccer state associations – New Jersey Youth Soccer (@NJYouthSoccer) and the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (@vayouthsoccer) – come in at No. 4 and No. 5, climbing by 2.7 and 2.4 percent.
