Veteran attacking midfielder Erin Flurey transfers to Auburn from Florida State

AUBURN, Ala. — Erin Flurey, an experienced attacking midfielder with over 50 appearances in Atlantic Coast Conference competition, has joined the Auburn soccer program from Florida State for her final year of eligibility, Tigers head coach James Armstrong announced.
“Erin is a fierce competitor who is a proven goal-scorer at the Power 4 level,” head coach James Armstrong said. “She is someone who epitomizes the grit we are looking for in our players. As a previous two-year captain, she will also bring valuable experience and leadership to our locker room. Our fans should be very excited to watch this young woman compete for Auburn.”
Flurey has seen consistent minutes on the pitch since beginning her collegiate career at Syracuse. Over 52 career appearances and 49 career starts, she’s bagged 35 points on 15 goals and five assists. Nearly half of her goals scored (7) have come versus ACC opponents. She’s also a perfect 4-for-4 from the penalty spot.
Flurey led her Syracuse side in points scored during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. She also served as a team captain during both.

Flurey spent the spring 2025 season in Tallahassee playing with the Seminoles but elected to play for the Tigers for her fourth and final fall season.
Prior to college, Flurey was a First Team All-State honoree at Central High School, where she led the Little Green to back-to-back state championships and set the CHS single-season record for goals scored with 27. She finished her high school career with 58.
