Update on funds raised for Gemmell Family after tragic plane crash

The Screaming Eagles, a prevalent D.C. United fan club, has opened a fund for the Gemmell Family, a family of soccer supporters struck by tragedy after a plane crashed into their Gaithersburg, Md. home in early December.
Update from the Screaming Eagles:
This week has been a roller coaster of emotions for our club. At a time when we are celebrating how close we are to a new stadium, tragedy has befallen one of our families.
While we pause to remember the life of a wonderful mother and her two sons today, we have been heartened with how our soccer community has banded together to support Ken and Arabella in this time of sorrow and hardship.
As of Thursday, 485 donors from across the country and beyond have already contributed $13,250 to the Gemmell Fund in memory of Marie, Cole and Devin to help the family.
Our spirits have been lifted by this outpouring of generosity and support from our futbol family.
