South Florida men’s soccer signs Brazilian midfielder

TAMPA, Fla. (Via University of South Florida) – Head USF men’s soccer coach Bob Butehorn has signed Brazilian product Vinicius Loureiro to a national letter of intent to join the Bulls roster in 2019.
Loureiro hails from Fortaleza, Brazil, but played for FC Utrecht in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands he has amassed over 1,600 minutes of playing time and scored two goals in U19 competition.
“Vinicius is a promising young prospect for our program,” Butehorn said. “He’s a very composed midfielder with excellent final pass efficiency.
Loureiro will join fellow incoming-freshmen Salvatore Mazzaferro, Sergio Pinero-Mayorga, Cooper Blay, Braden Ammon, and Victor Claudel in fall 2019.
