University of Arizona signs Brooke Ahern on transfer from Utah

TUCSON – Arizona soccer head coach Becca Moros has added Utah transfer  to the Wildcat program. Ahern joins the Arizona team after spending a season with the Utes as a forward.

“Brooke is a tremendous young woman and soccer player,” said Moros. “We’ve been watching her for two years, and I think her characteristics and work rate will fit in beautifully with the team. We’re excited to welcome her to Tucson, and I know our fans will enjoy watching her play.”

While in Salt Lake City, Ahern played in 18 matches and scored a goal in the Utes’ 6-0 win over Oregon State. She tallied seven shots over the course of the season, four of which were on goal.

In high school, Ahern garnered All-State honors in 2019 and additionally was named ISL All-League and All-NEPSAC at the conclusion of the year. She was a 2018 ECNL National Finalist with the FC Stars.
