U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team to face Denmark, Turkey at Northern Ireland Milk Cup 2012
The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team will participate at the Northern Ireland Milk Cup 2012 from July 21-26 in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Head coach Tab Ramos will lead his squad against Denmark and Turkey in the first two matches.
“The Milk Cup will be great preparation for us in the development of our team as we move forward to qualifying for FIFA U-20 World Cup in February of next year,” Ramos said.
The U.S. faces Denmark at 7 p.m. local time (2 p.m. ET) on Saturday, July 21 at Scroggy Road in Limavady. Two days later, the U.S. faces Turkey on July 23 at 8 p.m. local time (3 p.m. ET) at the Showgrounds in Ballymena.
Also participating in the six-team tournament are hosts Northern Ireland, Chile and Mexico. The playoff games to determine final placement in the event, including the final, will take place on Thursday, July 26.
Ramos will name an 18-man roster for the trip.
