BIEL, Switzerland (Via U.S. Soccer) – The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team drew 1-1 with the Switzerland U-19 WNT in the second of two friendlies between the teams. The USA won the first match, 3-1, on April 7.

U.S. U-18 WNT head coach Jaime Frias has brought a team to Switzerland that featured 13 players born in 2000, which is the birth year for this year’s U-18 WNT, and seven players born in 2000, which is the U-19 WNT birth year for 2018. The roster was almost evenly split between youth club players (11) and colleges players (9).

The USA got its goal in the 18th minute after a shot from forward Rachel Jones was deflected by the goalkeeper and fell to midfielder Taylor Malham about eight yards in front of the goal. She then finished into the bottom right corner with a shot past the diving goalkeeper.
