Tennessee SC ECNL Director Dean Blain departing club to pursue new opportunity
FRANKLIN, TN – Dean Blain, who served as Tennessee Soccer Club’s first ever ECNL Director, is leaving the club later this month to pursue another opportunity. Blain, who was hired as ECNL Director with TSC in June of 2017, will be taking a role with an out-of-state youth soccer club later this spring.
“I want to thank Dean for all that he did for TSC and our ECNL program,” said Executive Director Stuart Brown. “He helped us establish the program and our teams have done very well right out of the gate since joining the league several years ago. We wish Dean the best of luck in his new role.”
Since the 2017-18 season, Blain led the implementation of the ECNL program into the TSC player pathway. In the short span of three and a half years, TSC now has one of the most respected ECNL programs in the United States.
“I am truly thankful for the amazing experience I have had over the past four years working as ECNL Director for Tennessee Soccer Club,” said Blain. “I have immense respect for everyone at the club; I value and appreciate all friendships made over my time here. I wish the club and everyone involved the best of luck and successes over the coming years.”
Effective immediately, current ECNL Assistant Director Greg Warden will fill the Director role and continue to push the program in the right direction.
