Temple University women’s soccer program signs three to incoming class

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple University women’s soccer team will welcome three talented new Owls to North Broad, as Eliza David, Lexy Endres and Alexa Swetz have signed NCAA Letters of Intent to join the Cherry and White as members of the Class of 2024.

Eliza David | Forward | Sayreville, N.J. | Immaculata High School | PDA ECNL

David, a native of Sayreville, N.J., attends Immaculata High School and plays club for PDA ECNL. In her high school career, she netted 38 goals and tallied 22 assists. As a freshman at Sayreville War Memorial High School, David led the team in goals and earned GMC Honorable Mention accolades. As a sophomore her team won the GMC White Division. Transferring to Immaculata for her final two seasons, David was named First Team All-Skyland Conference, led the conference in goals and led the team in goals and assists as team’s captain and MVP in her season campaign. She is a member of the National and Spanish Honor Societies, a four-year honor roll student and plans on studying sport and recreation management at Temple.

Lexy Endres | Midfield/Forward | Medford, N.J. | Shawnee High School | FC Delco ENCL

Endres will come to North Broad from Medford, N.J., where she attends Shawnee High School and plays club for FC Delco ECNL. In her career at Shawnee, she earned four varsity letters and racked up 38 goals and 52 assists. Endres holds the school’s single-season assists record (25) and is tied for the career assists record (52). She has amassed numerous accolades and recognitions during her prolific campaign at Shawnee: 2018 Burlington County Times Player of the Year, NJGSCA All-State, SJGSCA All-South Jersey Second Team, Olympic Conference First Team (2018, 2019), American Division First Team (2018, 2019), Star Ledger First Team All-State, All-Conference and All-Group and Courier Post First Team All-South Jersey. Endres is an honor roll student at Shawnee and plans on studying accounting at Temple.

Alexa Swetz | Defense/Midfield | Hillsborough, N.J. | Hillsborough High School | PDA ECNL

Swetz, a native of Hillsborough N.J., attends Hillsborough High school and plays club for PDA ECNL. In her career at Hillsborough, she earned four varsity letters, tallied 31 goals and dished out 25 assists. Swetz was named Third Team All-Conference, Area and County as a freshman and Second Team All-Conference, Area and County in both her sophomore and junior campaigns. Her PDA ECNL team qualified for and competed in the league’s playoffs numerous times. Swetz is a member of Hillsborough’s Student Council and plans on studying business at Temple.
