TAMPA, Fla. (Via USL) – The Super Y League has announced the addition of 21 youth clubs from throughout the United States to the league for the 2015 season.

The new clubs add 75 total teams to the SYL following the completion of its 16th season at the SYL North American Finals at IMG Academy in December.

“Each of these clubs that have been offered admittance into the Super Y League for 2015 will strengthen our divisions and enhance the quality of competition on the field for all of our current members,” said Gordon Bengtson, SYL Director of Youth League Development & Growth. “We look forward to continuing to expand and develop the league further in 2015, where we will grow in new territories to provide a first-class soccer experience for our clubs, and offer more youth players a clear pathway to the professional ranks.”

“The Super Y League is excited to welcome this initial group of clubs to the league in 2015 and looks forward to the announcement of more members in the future,” said Brett Luy, SYL Senior Director of Youth League Development. “We are always interested in adding clubs that continue to advance the profile and development of both the league and its members. The league believes that the addition of these clubs is a noteworthy step in that process and perpetuates the goal of providing our member clubs with a quality experience both on and off the field.”
