Players to Watch: ECNL Girls Florida National Event (Winter 2026)
The Winter 2026 ECNL Girls Florida National Event is coming up January 10-13, as 230 of the nation’s best teams in the country will compete in the U16-U18/19 age groups.
In the first major college recruiting event of the New Year, ECNL Florida will serve as a pivotal proving ground for uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects, in addition to those from the Class of 2028 who will enter their active recruiting window in June.
Ahead of the ECNL Girls Florida National Event, here are some players to know for the tournament. Players are listed according to their graduation year.

2029
Carly is a wingback / outside back trusted with heavy minutes in top matches for Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2010. She’s a three-time ODP East Region Pool selection, providing endline-to-endline impact with multiple league assists and is a key contributor to numerous clean sheets through consistent 1v1 defending that creates turnovers, paired with excellent recovery speed and communication.
A versatile wingback, midfielder, and forward, Claire is a proven goal scorer and playmaker with strong 1v1 ability, elite technical skills, fitness, and set-piece impact. SHE was named to the 24–25 ECNL All-Conference Second Team and selected for the USYS ODP East Region Team. During her 2025 high school season, she earned All-Section and All-WPIAL honors with 28 goals and 22 assists and was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Elite 11. A multi-sport athlete, Claire was listed by MileSplit as a “Class of 2029: Top 75 Track Stars in the USA.”
2028
The starting left back for the reigning ECNL National Champion Michigan Hawks 2010 team, Bunce was widely noted as a standout during the 2025 ECNL Finals. Her contributions during Michigan’s title run were plentiful, as she helped slow down some of the best offenses in the country in a long series of huge moments, game after game. She’s known for her versatile skillset, including her technical precision and field vision. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Highly-touted as one of the top attacking prospects from the Class of 2028, Khaleel is a member of the U.S. Youth National Team roster pool. She’s outstanding with the ball at her feet, whether she’s lined up in the midfield or at forward, she equally dangerous both as a distributor and as a goal scorer for Florida Krush 2010. An accomplished Class of 2028 center midfielder for Fairfax Virginia Union 2010, Ambrose is a key contributor in the heart of the field. She’s known for her excellent technical skills, hard-nosed defensive play and playmaking abilities. Ambrose recently helped Fairfax VA Union go unbeaten at the ECNL Kansas City Event against some of the top teams in the country. (HIGHLIGHTS)
A winger / striker for Tampa Bay United 2010, Edwards earned 2nd Team ECNL All-Conference honors last season, and she continues to impress in her junior year. She led her team in scoring during the 2024-25 campaign, and she’s been a strong contributor once again thanks to her relentless motor and tough, physical play. Edwards shines applying high pressure and forcing turnovers leading to quick scores for her side. (HIGHLIGHTS)
This Minnesota Thunder Academy 2010 defender is going to be one of the most coveted recruits in the entire country for the Class of 2028. She has become a mainstay in the U.S. Youth National Team roster pool, earning several call-ups this fall with the U.S. U-16 Girls squad. Voss is an All-ECNL Midwest Conference talent who brings vertical speed, quickness in tight spaces and explosiveness on the ball.
A technically sharp and composed goalkeeper, Dhruna brings explosive reactions, quick reads, and fearless command of the box to the nationally ranked Michigan Hawks ECNL 2010. Known for her elite reactions, she consistently brings composure and confidence to high-pressure situations. In the 2025 season, she posted a 91% save percentage and 0.5 GAA, helping lead her team to the 2025 ECNL U15 National Championship and #1 rankings both nationally and in the Midwest Conference.
Stover serves as captain for the Arlington Soccer 2010 ECNL squad, as she’s a leader both on and off the field. She’s an All-ECNL Mid-Atlantic Conference midfielder and was selected to participate in the prestigious ECNL Conference Cup in August 2025. Stover is a key contributor both on offense and defense for Arlington, playing with a constant motor and covering the entire field.
Barnes is a true box-to-box maestro for Penn Fusion 2010 who dictates tempo and elevates everyone around her. Dynamic connector and playmaker, linking backline to attack with composure, range, and precision, consistently impacting high-stakes ECNL matches. She earned First Team All-ECNL North Atlantic Conference honors last season for the big time impact that she had on her team’s success.
Conboy has been a steady presence between the posts for FC DELCO 2010, anchoring the defensive unit with leadership and some big time shot-stopping abilities. She has experience on the US Youth Soccer ODP East Regional Team and she had a noteworthy performance at the 2025 Jefferson Cup, where she helped guide her team to 3 consecutive wins while not conceding any goals during her time in net.
Mackenzie McNeely, a Class of 2028 attacking player from Pennsylvania, will be competing in upcoming showcase events with the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 2009. Coming off a strong individual performance at ECNL Kansas City, McNeely continues to show her ability to impact games through pace, work rate, and confident play in the attacking third. Her individual effort, willingness to press, and competitiveness stand out against top national competition.
Brown has been the goal and assist leader for her Atlanta Fire United 2009 team for the past 3 seasons and she’s a 2-time First Team All-Conference ECNL player. She recently scored 3 of her teams 5 goals at the ECNL Kansas City National Event, and will aim to continue building on that success in Florida. (HIGHLIGHTS)
Jaycee Hinson | Forward
Tampa Bay United 2010 (FL)
One of the premier attacking players in the ECNL’s Southeast Conference, Hinson was honored as a First Team ECNL All-Conference selection in the 2024-25 season. She’s a versatile prospect who can line up at forward, on the wing or in the midfield. Hinson has experience in US Youth Soccer’s ODP South Region roster pool and has earned multiple U.S. Soccer Talent ID invites.

Gabby Beinecke | Forward
Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy 2009 (PA)
Beinecke is a 2-time ECNL All-Conference forward who has also competed in the USL W League with the Pittsburgh Riveters. She’s been selected for the USYNT East Region ID Camp and has earned four USYNT Talent ID recognitions, and received Girls Academy National Talent ID and GA Mid-Atlantic Talent ID honors twice. 2027
Thomas played alongside her Arlington Soccer 2010 ECNL teammate Emery Stover in the 2025 ECNL Conference Cup, where they both turned in some solid performances among some of the nation’s premier athletes. The Class of 2027 midfielder has also previously competed in the ECNL National Selection Game, as she’s regarded as one of the toughest players to matchup against in the ECNL’s Mid-Atlantic Conference. She has a powerful shot from distance and is a great passer in the attacking zone as well.
Evangelina Sturdifen | Defender
Florida Kraze Krush 2010 (FL)
Evangelina is known for her composure both on and off the ball, her creativity in linking play with midfielders and forwards, and her vision to think several plays ahead. A versatile, two-footed player, she reads the game well, anticipating and intercepting opposition attacks before transitioning quickly into offense. Her intelligence and consistency as a defender and winger enable her to create goal-scoring opportunities for her team.

Solar SC 2009 (FL)
Representing renowned North Texas club Solar SC, Harig is an under-the-radar defender from the Class of 2027. Playing on the star-studded Solar SC 2009 squad which finished the fall campaign with an unblemished 21-0 record, Harig is an athletic, shutdown defender who can also get forward and attack from the wingback position.

Washington Premier 2009 (WA)
Off to a great start this season, Williams is an uncommitted Class of 2027 forward for Washington Premier 2009. She scored 4 and assisted 1 of her team’s 6 goals at Surf Cup in November. She started the ECNL season off with 2 goals and 1 assist in her first 2 league games of the 2025-26 campaign.
